STEPPING OUT!!!!

Last week was very exciting in Room 3.  We had 3 visits from the police, all about road safety. On Friday we went for a walk and practised crossing the road safely. Then we all got to sit in a police car, in a booster seat. David got to use the loud speaker and then Constable Jude turned the siren on!!! After that, we went into the hall with Room 4 and some lucky people got to dress up like the police. We had lots of fun and also learnt a lot about road safety. Check out these photos below!!!!

Measuring Fun!!!!

For measurement last week, we draw outlines around people and then measured their body parts. We used cubes to measure how long their legs were and their arms. We had lots of fun measuring our friends bodies!!!! Check out the photos below:

Wriggly Worms!!!!

In Room 3 we have studying measurement, focussing on length and height. Last week we made some wriggly worms out of playdough and then compared them with others. We used words like: length, height, size, bigger, smaller, taller, shorter, longer, wider. These words are in our word bank, so we can use them again.
